Guam - In honor of the 20th anniversary of Kamalen Karidat, seven members of the Taiwan Chou, Ta-Kuan Cultural and Educational Foundation will be visiting Guam and will attend the annual Kamalen Karidat “Feed the Hungry” fundraiser on Friday, November 8th at the Sheraton Hotel starting at 6 o’clock pm.

The aim of the foundation is to deliver the message - "Life is priceless. The world is filled with love." - to people who live in difficult environments.

On May 22, 2013, Deacon Francisco Tenorio was honored by the Foundation and flown to Taiwan, along with his wife Maria, to attend the 2013 Fervent
Global Love of Lives Awarding Ceremony and Care for Life Charity Event. He was presented with a Medal and awarded for his dedication to the poor and
disadvantaged.

The “Fervent Global Love of Lives Medal” was established sixteen years ago.

Since then, 257 winners from 45 countries were awarded including the Canadian founder of the charity Free the Children—Craig Kielburger, psychotherapist
Salvager—Dr. Daniel Gottlieb from US, animal savior—Chris Peters from Holland, anti-drug Hero—Juan Manuel Galan from Columbia, etc.

Each year the “Fervent Global Love of Lives Medal" is awarded to life ambassadors around the world and their inspired stories are compiled into books
to encourage people. Every medal winner is a beam of light in the world; even a tiny dream can spread wide.

The founders of the Foundation are bringing 1000 books of the story of their son for whom the foundation was established. Kamalen Karidat will sell the books and retain the proceeds from the operation of Kamalen Karidat .
