Send Love to India – Taiwan Cancer Fighters A Series of Public Service Activities of Sending Love to India and Fulfilling Dreams

1. Chou Chin-Hua (Founder of Chou Ta-Kuan Foundation) and Guo Ying-Lan (President of Chou Ta-Kuan Foundation) led a 6-member Chou Ta-Kuan Children’s Ensemble, including the Taiwan cancer fighter Chang Yun-wei (Leukemia Sunshine Angel), visited the House of Dying founded by Mother Teresa and located in Kolkata on February 4 to 6. They offered help to 273 Indian children with advanced cancer, lit up the entire wards with music, and meanwhile, adopted 13 disabled orphans for a long time, giving them access to the modern medical treatment technology and to education – helping the children to relieve disability, forget pain and cherish hope and dreams – aspiring to study in Taiwan, live with hope and love.
2. In order to help the winner of the 19th Fervent Global Love of Lives Award -- Jadav Payeng (Forest Man of India) to finish writing the autobiography and promote the dream of planting forest by one person, Taiwan anticancer warriors, led by Chou Shang-Guan (Director, Chou Ta-Kuan Foundation International Exchange Center), sent love to the Jadav Payeng Conservation Center on February 7 to 11. In the five days when living with Jadav Payeng, everyone planted trees with Jadav Payeng at 4:00 a.m. every day. They saw how he used his hands to plant 550 acres of forest over 36 years, and dedicates himself to transforming the sand into oasis and animal heaven all his life. His acts moved Canada and even French directors filmed a documentary for him to publicize such a world ecological hero.
